Carissa Wolfe
Carissa Wolfe is excited for her first year with the Hawkeye Marching Band! She is from Uniontown, Ohio and has been twirling since she was 4 years old. Carissa competed individually and with her team The Showtwirlers on the international scale, earning three Gold Medals at the 2023 IBTF world championships. She was the first athlete from the US to ever win three gold medals at one technical world championship. She continues to represent the United States on the world stage in solo, x-strut, artistic twirl, and artistic pair. Carissa was the feature twirler at Lake High School for four years, and she is the 2024 USTA Grand National Artistic Twirl Champion. She has accumulated 10 national titles in strut and artistic twirl in the past three years at USTA. Carissa is very proud to represent the USA on the International Baton Twirling Federation Athletes Commission where she serves as a voice for all US athletes.
Carissa is an incoming first-year student at the University of Iowa, majoring in human physiology with a minor in therapeutic recreation on a pre-physician’s assistant track.
