Emma has been an avid fan of both Hawkeye sports and the HMB for her entire life. Her mom played clarinet in the HMB from 1992-1995, as well as her aunt and uncle who were in the trumpet section. Growing up, Emma attended many HMB Rec Shows before games and has many fond memories of watching the HMB throughout the years. Prior to her time in the HMB, Emma was heavily involved in jazz ensembles both at Kirkwood and in high school. She enjoys playing jazz piano and tenor saxophone in her free time. Outside of music, Emma enjoys embroidering, going on walks, working at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex, and spending time with friends.
